3G - new generation of mobile communication

The third generation (3G) -is the general definition for standards and technologies which provide high speed data transmission in networks of mobile communication. 3G is essentially new approach to communication and information. UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications Systems) - the standard of mobile communication 3G, officially recognized in Russia as the next step of development of GSM. UMTS - the most widespread standard 3G in the world. Today 70 % of operating networks 3G work in standard UMTS.
